TheraTears Eye Drops
TheraTears Lubricant Eye Drops is a true medical breakthrough in dry-eye treatment.Dry-eye irritation results from a loss of water from the tears on the eye surface. TheraTears helps put back the lost water so that it not only wets, but also rehydrates dry eyes. In addition, it is important to recognize that human tears are an electrolyte solution that nourishes the eye surface. Published studies have shown that electrolytes such as potassium are critical to the maintenance and restoration of ocular heath. Other important electrolytes in the tear film include: sodium, calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate. Based on 18 years of research, Advanced Vision Research were able to replicate and patent this electrolyte balance and this is why TheraTears works so well. As patients continue to use TheraTears, they get immediate and cumulative long-lasting relief.
Dry eye sufferers will notice a difference right away because TheraTears is an incredible lubricant. You can see for yourself by placing a drop of TheraTears on your index finger and rubbing it against your thumb. As you rub, you’ll feel that TheraTears keeps on working and working and working, and that’s exactly what patients notice.

In preservative-free single-use containers, it is designed to saturate dry eyes, and dilute down the high salt concentration that causes dry-eye irritation. If you want to treat your dry eyes, “saturation dosing” is a great way to start — split the entire contents of one container between both eyes within a 5 minute period or you can use it 4 times a day (i.e. 8 am, 12 noon, 3 pm and 6 pm).
TheraTears Liquid Gel
A thicker version of preservative-free TheraTears. TheraTears Liquid Gel works as a “liquid bandage” yet does not cause the blurring and crusting seen with thicker products. If you have severe dry eye, and have irritation throughout the day, use saturation dosing with preservative-free TheraTears four times a day, and follow each episode of saturation dosing with a single-drop of liquid gel to provide a liquid bandage until the time for next saturation dose. TheraTears Liquid Gel is also great for nighttime use.
